Times are changing in America, and Robyn, a devoted high school English teacher, never imagined she’d be fired for teaching banned literature. Reeling from the injustice and with her young daughter by her side, she creates a plan to resist the school’s policies. Seeking guidance, she turns to Mrs. Jean, a community elder and keeper of a cherished community bookstore.
