Huli OF CONSCIOUSNESS

HULI OF CONSCIOUSNESS [past event] celebrates the power of cinema as ritual – showcasing Black American, Native Hawaiian, and diverse filmmakers from Hawai‘i and across the US continent. The filmmakers illuminate ancestral wisdom – envisioning futures of healing, liberation, and abundance for our future generations. The program is an exchange of Black and Indigenous storytelling, thought, community, and ways of knowing. Featuring distinguished guests, Dr. Manulani Meyer and Dr. Thema Bryant.
