Who I am
My name is Daniel Croix. I'm an actor, writer, director, and producer — and I've spent my career moving between all of it deliberately.
On screen, I've worked across 119 episodes of BET's The Oval, Apple TV+'s Manhunt, and Hulu's Love Victor. On stage, with Kenny Leon and Knud Adams at The Public Theater. As a filmmaker, I founded Ringshout Productions and built a slate that has reached festivals and institutions across four continents — Sundance, Lincoln Center, Kino Babylon Berlin, the Honolulu Museum of Art, and beyond.
I completed the HIFILM Producers Lab at the Hawaiʻi International Film Festival, have aligned sponsorships, curated short film programs, and mentored emerging artists through the Lorna Hill Artist Fellowship, which I founded. I know what it takes to sustain a creative life across multiple lanes — and to grow them together rather than against each other.
This practice came out of something simple: I kept meeting people with real ideas and no clear path forward. I know that path. I'm on it. And I'm genuinely invested in witnessing what happens when someone commits to theirs.
